About Abbye

Abbye practices with the firm’s Litigation group. In addition to the above expertise, she also practices in Constitutional and Civil Rights Litigation.

Abbye earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003 and her B.A. from Arcadia University in 1999.

Prior to becoming an associate, Abbye worked for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office first as a Certified Legal Intern and later as an Assistant Public Defender.

Abbye is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the United States Middle District of Florida as well as the United State Middle District of Florida Bankruptcy Court. Abbye is also a member of the Central Florida Association of Woman Lawyers.

What community projects are you involved in?

In recent years, I have been involved with Habitat for Humanity as a committee member and organized a walk team for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

What was your first job?

Assistant teacher at a daycare center.

What advice would you give to a young student in law school?

If you are interested in litigation take advantage of the Certified Legal Internship program if your school offers one.

How do you spend your weekend?

I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and friends usually at Disney World, visiting parks, and traveling.
