What community projects are you involved in?
I am an active participant in the Nashville nonprofit community. I am currently a member of the Junior League of Nashville. Some of my previous placements have involved the Nashville Zoo, Saddle Up!, Movie Night at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, as well as various administrative roles within the League. I also am a member of the Nashville Young Leaders’ Council, a program which trains professionals to sit on various boards of local nonprofits.
What are your hobbies?
I love to ski, and since that isn’t something you can really do in Nashville, try to take a trip out west or up north once a year. I’ve skied Vermont, West Virginia, Colorado, and Lake Tahoe, and hope to get to Austria, Italy and Canada in the next few years. I also enjoy watching sports and spending time with my family.
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Don’t necessarily focus on one field of the law or one “track.” Even if you think you’ll never be a litigator or a corporate attorney, take the basics if at all possible. You never know when you may need to pitch in on something to help save the day.
