About Chris
Chris practices in the Litigation and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy sections with a focus on commercial litigation, product liability and toxic tort litigation. He also has experience in handling debtors and creditors in state, federal district and bankruptcy courts. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Tennessee State Bar Association, the Texas State Bar Association, the American and Birmingham Bar Associations, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Transportation Lawyers Association. In 2010, Chambers USA selected Chris as among the “Up and Coming” group of attorneys in the area of Bankruptcy/Restructuring. He was also selected for inclusion in the 2010 Alabama Super Lawyers listing.
Chris received his B.A. in 1989 and his J.D. in 1993, both from the University of Alabama. During law school, he was an Editor for the Alabama Law Review, a Hugo Black Scholar and a member of the Moot Court Board. He is admitted to the Alabama Bar, the Tennessee Bar and the Texas Bar.
