About Erich
Erich is counsel in the firm’s Mobile office, where his practice includes commercial litigation, construction, admiralty, governmental affairs, regulatory and appellate work. Prior to joining the firm, he was in-house counsel for the Baldwin County Commission, where he represented the Commission in land use, appellate, contractual, personnel, and regulatory matters.
Erich received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as editor on the Alabama Law Review. Erich received his B.S. in finance, magna cum laude, from Mobile College.
What was your first job?
I worked in a furniture warehouse.
What is your favorite thing about the law?
Untangling complicated problems or issues, and providing practical solutions.
What advice would you give to a young law student?
Don’t allow yourself to become overwhelmed by the quantity or complexity of the material. Read carefully. Prepare thoroughly and deliberately.
How do you spend your weekend?
Spending time with my family, church, and work.
