About Erich
Erich practices in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy section. He is a member of the State Bars of both Georgia and Louisiana, the American Bar Association Business Law Section, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. Erich received his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College in 1993 and his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University in 1998. In 2009 and 2010, he was named as a leading practitioner in Bankruptcy/Restructuring by the highly regarded Chambers USA, a legal directory featuring client-led intelligence on America’s leading lawyers for business. In addition, he was selected for inclusion in the 2010 Georgia Super Lawyers - Rising Stars Edition.
Erich has extensive experience in Chapter 11 business reorganization cases and structured loan workouts, as well as transactional and litigation experience involving commercial finance transactions, real estate, and other business-related matters. His practice focuses mainly on assisting clients in the resolution of complex commercial issues, the restructuring of performing and distressed credit facilities, and the maximization of debt and collateral recovery. Erich’s primary clients include financial institutions, asset-based lenders, commercial leasing companies, healthcare companies, insurance companies, and telecommunications companies.
