About Faisal
Faisal is an associate in the creditors’ rights and bankruptcy practice group. In addition, he is a member of the Executive Council of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Section. The Section’s Executive Council and officers advise the Tennessee Bar and its Director on proposed legislation affecting creditors rights/bankruptcy, host the Section’s annual Bankruptcy Law Forum, and produce its newsletters, among other responsibilities.
Faisal received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law.
While at Vanderbilt, Faisal was a member of the Dean’s List, the recipient of the James W. Cuminale Book Award in Corporations, and the recipient of the Scholastic Excellence Award in Insurance Law. He also served as an intern for the Honorable Thomas A. Wiseman, Jr., Senior United States District Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee. Faisal received his B.A., magna cum laude, from The George Washington University, where he was an alternate captain of the ice hockey team.
