About Greg
Greg is a partner in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group with a concentration on complex litigation, insurance litigation, class action defense and employment matters. Greg has extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation and has handled disputes on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants on a broad range of issues including breach of contract, fraud, bad faith, trade secrets, defamation and unfair business practices claims. While Greg’s practice is centered in Georgia and Alabama, he has represented clients in matters across the United States.
Greg’s clients include national banking institutions, insurers and one of Georgia’s largest residential contracting companies. Greg also currently serves as National Outside Litigation Counsel for a diversified telecommunications company. In 2005, Greg was selected as a “Rising Star” among Georgia lawyers by Law and Politics and the publishers of Atlanta Magazine. He also co-authored an article in the February, 2007 edition of Business to Business Magazine entitled: How Your Company Can Avoid Post-Employment Covenant Killers.
Greg is a member of the Defense Research Institute and a member of the DRI committee on business litigation and class actions. Greg has previously served on the Case and Statute Commentary Board of the Commercial and Business Litigation Committee of the ABA and on the Bench and Bar Committee of the State Bar of Georgia. Within the firm, Greg serves on the Torts, Insurance and Product Liability section.
Greg received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1992. He was a member of the Intrastate Moot Court Team in 1991 and was on the Moot Court Board in 1992. He received his B.S. in Finance from Jacksonville State University and is currently president of the Jacksonville State University Foundation.
