About Harvey
Harvey practices in the firm’s Business section with an emphasis on corporate law, commercial financing and banking, and business planning.
Harvey earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2008 from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a Fellow in the Georgia Supreme Court Law Schools Consortium and the Council for Legal Education Opportunity. While in law school, Harvey was elected Student Justice of the UGA Law Honor Court Hearing Panel and was a Senator for the UGA School of Law. He spent a semester abroad at Oxford University. Harvey received a B.A. in Philosophy from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2005.
Harvey is a member of the Georgia State Bar.
What was your first job?
My first job was working at McDonald’s, where I remained for 5 years. I began working in drive-thru, but before my senior year in high school, I was promoted to full-time manager. Boy have I come a long way—from fries to Firm.
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Take law school, especially your first year, one day at a time. Trust me, the future is there and is impacted by what you presently do day-to-day. If you successfully complete the days, they will accrue into a successful law school career.
