About Holly
Holly is Counsel in the firm’s Commercial Finance & Banking and Financial Services Practice Groups and practices in the firm’s Mobile office. Holly’s practice focuses on the areas of financial institution law and regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and securities law.
Holly represents banks and thrifts, as well as their holding companies and subsidiaries, in a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, branch purchase and sale transactions, charter conversions, permissible activities and activity restrictions, regulatory capital requirements, capital raising, branching, interstate expansion, affiliate transactions, insider lending, de novo bank formations, holding company formations, and going-private transactions. She also assists clients with problem bank issues, including the negotiation of and compliance with formal and informal regulatory enforcement actions, capital planning and raising, prompt corrective action requirements, and asset quality, management, and liquidity deficiencies.
Holly has practiced before various state bank regulatory agencies, as well as the regional and national offices of the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, the OCC, and the OTS.
Holly received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2004, where she served as Managing Editor of the Alabama Law Review, was a member of the Order of the Coif, received the Dean M. Leigh Harrison Award, and was a Hugo L. Black Scholar. Prior to law school, Holly received her B.S., cum laude, from the University of South Alabama in 1998.
