About Keith

Keith practices in the firm’s Real Estate group where he specializes in acquisition and development of real estate for commercial, multi-family and single-family uses. Keith represents clients in all facets of development, including acquisition and disposition, land use, and the organization and structure of master-planned communities, condominiums and mixed-use developments throughout the United States and the Caribbean.

Keith has over 14 years of experience in state and local land use issues; community association law, including creating and implementing community governance plans; federal and state land sales compliance; merchant builder programs; and golf club structure and membership. In addition, Keith provides guidance and expertise to lenders and potential purchasers regarding non-performing loans and troubled real estate assets with his representation ranging from negotiating the purchase and sale of troubled assets to post-acquisition control and management.

Keith has also worked as the Assistant County Attorney (Glynn County) and as Assistant Legislative Counsel for the General Assembly of Georgia focusing on land use and development, zoning, eminent domain, taxation, leasehold estates, and open records compliance. He clerked for The Honorable Robert L. Russell III of the Atlantic Circuit of Georgia.

Representative Experience

  • Representing a large multi-state multifamily developer in the acquisition and development of multifamily complexes throughout the South and Midwest.

  • Represented resort development company in the development and organization of the property owners and private club membership structure for a large scale residential development in Georgia.

  • Representing large-scale residential developer in connection with HUD Land Sales registration and state land sales registration throughout the United States.

  • Representing lender in the disposition of the largest maritime forest tract in coastal Georgia.

  • Represented lender in the disposition and structure of a resort development and golf-club component in coastal Georgia.
