About Kathryn
Kathryn practices in the firm’s Transactional Group, focusing on general corporate work, taxation, economic development and estate and tax planning. Kathryn’s practice involves advising clients on a variety of business issues such as entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, and multi-member limited liability companies.
Kathryn received her B.S.B.A. in Accounting, summa cum laude, in 1998 from Auburn University, her Masters in Accounting with a tax concentration in 1999 from Auburn University, and her J.D, summa cum laude, in 2002 from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, she served on the Alabama Law Review and as President to the Tax and Estate Planning Law Association. In addition, Kathryn was a member of the Order of the Coif, and passed the CPA examination, receiving Alabama’s High Score Award.
Kathryn has been named multiple times in the Georgia Super Lawyers — Rising Stars Edition in Atlanta Magazine. The lawyers chosen as Rising Stars represent approximately 2.5 percent of the best up-and-coming attorneys in the state as voted by their peers based on personal observation.

Traveling, reading, spending time with family, Auburn football.
