About Lisa
Lisa practices in the firm’s Litigation section with a focus on Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Construction Litigation and Contract Law.
Lisa received her J.D. with honors, and her B.S. from the University of Florida. While at the University she was a Student Honor Court Associate Justice, a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, and the winner of the Phi Alpha Theta Thesis Award. She was also a summer clerk for the Honorable Raymond B. Ray in the Southern District of Florida Bankruptcy Court.
Lisa served as the Assistant Editor for the Florida Association of Collection Professionals from 2004 until 2006. She was also a lecturer at the Lorman Judgment Enforcement Seminar in 2005. The Orange County Bar Association recognized Lisa as Volunteer of the month for the Young Lawyers Division in December of 2004. In addition, she was recognized as part of the 10 Ten percent of attorneys in Central Florida, according to the Orlando Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar”. In addition, she was recognized as part of the top ten percent of attorneys in Central Florida by the Orlando Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar.”
Lisa is a member of the Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association, where she serves as Committee Chair for the Young Lawyers Division. She is admitted to practice in United States District Court, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. In years past, she served as Secretary for the Seminole County Bar Association Executive Board and as Chair for the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers Committee.
What community projects are you involved in?
In recent years I have coordinated the Holidays-in-January program and the Annual Scholarship Committee for the Orange County Bar Association.
What was your first job?
Journalist at the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel newspaper.
What are your hobbies?
Rare book collecting.
How do you spend your weekends?
Museums and bookstores.
