About Mark
Mark’s experience includes business torts, counseling and litigation in antitrust and price discrimination, competitive bids and other public law issues, land use and zoning, and licensing and permitting of regulated industries and facilities. He currently serves on the Antitrust and Torts and Insurance Practice Sections of the American Bar Association.
While in law school, Mark was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as Managing Editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. Mark also served as Law Clerk for The Honorable Robert B. Propst of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
What is your favorite thing about the law? The intellectual challenge.
What was your first job? I was a construction laborer.
What are your hobbies? Gardening and refinishing furniture.
What advice would you give to a young student in law school? Forget what you see on television. Law is 90% hard work and 10% inspiration.
How do you define a “good day?” When a client is obviously happy with the result of our work.
