About Patrick
Patrick practices in the Business section with a concentration in commercial lending, capital markets lending and commercial real estate, including multifamily, retail, office and industrial development. He has substantial experience representing real estate developers and investors in all phases of the development, financing and leasing of commercial properties. Additionally, Patrick has significant experience in closing complex real estate financings throughout the United States, including construction and other permanent loans. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Real Property Law section.
Patrick received his J.D. in 1988 from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and his B.A. from Auburn University in 1985.
What is your favorite thing about the law?
I really enjoy helping my clients achieve their goals. My practice allows me to work with people all across the U.S. and it is interesting to learn how similar issues and transactions are handled in different jurisdictions.
What community projects are you involved in?
I assist a local young men’s basketball team as an assistant coach.
What was your first job?
I was a stock person at a local store.
What are your hobbies?
Enjoying all forms of outdoor activities.
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Focus on the long term.
How do you spend your weekend?
Spending time with my family and gardening.
