About Kristen
Kristen practices in the firm’s Financial Services Litigation practice group. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where she served as the Writing Editor of the Cumberland Law Review. In addition, she was a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Kristen received her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
What was your first job?
Waitress/hostess at Midtown Cafe in Winston-Salem.
What are your hobbies?
Sailing, cooking, jogging, and playing with my dog, Martha.
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Work hard, but find balance. Learn when to listen to your peers and when to trust what you know.
How do you spend your weekend?
Enjoying places and events in Birmingham, or going to the lake.
